Folks, I’m On Vacation
Yep that’s right, a big fat week off from work. My first one all year and my bosses almost canceled it twice because I’m that indispensable (only a little eye rolling as I wrote the indispensable part, but they really did nearly cancel it times two).
I have absolutely no plans for the entire week but that is just the way I like it. The very first thing I did this morning after I woke up is I took a nap. That is what vacations are for. Other than going to the gym (which is something I actually enjoy anyway), I don’t have to go anywhere or be accountable to anyone. I can spend as much time in my jams as I choose, and it will be a lot I assure you.
If I had my choice I would be spending the week working on stained glass and sewing projects however both “studios” are packed up in boxes as there is no space where I am currently living to work on either. So I must turn to my secondary choices of knitting and crocheting. I have everything I need to start my very first sweater and I am also making a baby blanket for my future niece or nephew. Now if I could only figure out a convenient way to knit and be on the computer at the same time I’d be all set.
I also have the second half of the first season of Heroes to watch. I saved them to watch closer to the beginning of the second season so that I wouldn’t have to wait as long for the story to progress. I am that impatient at times.
Since Christmas is less than four months away now, and I also have a few birthdays thrown in that time frame as well, I will be spending some of this week figuring out just what presents to make. When you make things for folks it definitely takes more planning than hitting the mall the week before Christmas, which is what I do if the presents don’t turn out!
There are also a couple of computer games that I have been neglecting so I’m sure more than a couple of hours will be devoted in that direction. Along with reading. I have at least four books on the TBR pile staring longingly at me.
And if it turns out that I do absolutely none of the above? Well, it’s all good because I’m on Vacation!

Good for you! Vacations ARE for relaxing and just doing nothing!! It’s not a vacation otherwise!! Have fun!
Enjoy Sav. R&R is a great thing to partake in.
Whatever you do, relax while you are doing it
